I have always been creative and artsy. As a young girl, I thought I wanted to start a greeting card company, but the adults around me told me to be sensitive and responsible. Since I was good at math, my parents and teachers encouraged me to study accounting; and that’s what I did. I became a Senior Accountant for corporate offices; and was laid off from my numbers crunching job during the recession.

 One day, I was sitting at home, job hunting and clearing out papers. I found an old journal with sketches and drawings; and I realized that I needed to shift gears. Society doesn’t always support dreamers, but I decided to start supporting my own dream. I went back to school and fast forward a few years, I became an expert in graphic design and marketing.

As a young adult, I was active in my church and I began to help promote projects within the ministry. My interest in graphic design, marketing and promotion was nurtured by our small ministries’ need for flyers, programs, advertisements, videos and anything else that needed to be created! One of the vendors for the church became a mentor when I started interning at his well established print shop. With his 30 years of graphic design and printing experience, it was easy for me to learn and grow under his wing. Today, I have over 10 years of experience as a graphic designer. I have worked on thousands of projects (last estimated at 6,750) ranging from banners and flyers to skims for the sides of buildings and storefront signage. My creative agency, Now Marketing Solutions, was incorporated in 2014; and has been growing steadily ever since.

I love being a creative. I show my quirky side a little more when I am working with artists and entrepreneurs. I get an amazing feeling when I bring my clients ideas to fruition. The energy that I get from the creative process itself gives me life. The look on a client’s face when they see that their vision has manifested makes the process even more worthwhile. I look forward to creating with you NOW  and in the future.
